Steven M. Goldsobel is a former federal prosecutor and partner
of the White Collar Crime Practice Group and Trial Department
of the international law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery.
Mr. Goldsobel is dedicated to providing exceptional service and
representation to his clients on a 24/7 basis during federal
and state criminal investigations, trials, internal investigations,
and related civil matters where having experienced criminal counsel
is essential.
Mr. Goldsobel's service as a federal prosecutor has equipped him
with a unique perspective to counsel and advise clients facing criminal
investigations or indictments. He has extensive practical experience
in a wide variety of white collar criminal matters, including tax,
securities, health care and environmental violations; money laundering;
bribery and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, to name a few. As
a result, Mr. Goldsobel regularly interacts with representatives
of U.S. Attorney's Offices across the country, the Federal Bureau
of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service's Criminal Investigation
Division, the Securities & Exchange Commission, and local law
enforcement.
Mr. Goldsobel has been recognized as a 2005 and 2006 Rising
Star Super Lawyer of Southern California and is Vice Chair
and Chair-Elect of the Criminal Section of the nationwide Federal
Bar Association. Mr. Goldsobel also is a member of the
Executive Committee of the Healthcare Law Section of the Los Angeles
Bar Association.
